Unauthorized income for H-1B workers?
Yesterday, I read an article on the web that made me concerned. What exactly unauthorized access to H-1B workers in the U.S.. Is self-employment or make money in the unauthorized access to the Internet? Are these considered to be unjustified income: 1) Lotto winners 2) Sweepstakes Winners 3) Poker Profits 4) Stock / Investment Products earnings 5) The income of Google Adsense 6) Affiliate Marketing Income 7) eBay Auction Income
Freelance Programmer I do not want to hold my Income Green card processing in any way. Is it true you can not submit any 1099-MISC or Form W-2G on my tax return. Even gambling wins me to present one of them. I have no income of any of these so far, but came close to claiming a win Sweepstakes. I intend to invest in silver. But I do not want to create any problem so if I was not allowed stay away from her and nothing of the sort. Thanks
I am not an immigration lawyer so do not take my word as final answer. As U.S. residents (the that is from living here and paying taxes) that can engage any Lottery / Lotto / lottery. So I win is legal and is taxable concerned. About eBay / ad sense / marketing affiliate, they are considered as a business. You are authorized to invest or start a business in the U.S.. Once more you have to follow appropriate laws and regulations. But you are not allowed to work to anyone (including you own business) but the company filed for your H1B. So you have to hire someone to work for your business or run eBay / ad sense. I know some people running a business (such as gas stations), but are in a F1 visa has even H1B visa. They are hiring others to work for your business. … Good management of a company are also some types of work whether you hire someone to work for you. I'm not like those things, but almost certainly no way to do it legally. If you are planning to do something like this I recommend to consult a good immigration lawyer.
